ATELIER PICANTE is a creative studio and open playground where photography, conceptual imagery and art come together in playful and unexpected ways.

Founded by Benjamin Scharf, whose background as an architect shapes his view on space and structure, the studio explores structure, space and perception with a curious and „picante“ approach.

Using tools like ink, cameras, and abstract forms, Atelier Picante blends the real and the imagined, turning everyday details and moments into visual stories. With a dash of “Picante”, its work adds sharpness and intensity, making the ordinary feel unexpected.

It’s about the big in the small, the hidden in the obvious and the beauty in the unplanned.

BENJAMIN SCHARF (* 1977) is a german architect and photographer who has sharpened his view of the complexity of life through his stations in Baja California / Mexico, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, Murcia, San Sebastian / Spain, Karlsruhe and Bad Kissingen.

He currently works and lives in Augsburg, Germany.
